Bakasana, the crane pose, is about facing our fears; our fear of falling and our fear of failing. We need to face these fears in order to develop and progress, but to do so we must call upon courage and determination.
When practicing Bakasana, ask yourself, what am I afraid of? Once we stop becoming afraid of failure, only then can we begin to explore and expand. The victory is not just in meeting the physical challenge but in practicing patience and overcoming our own pride.
